This is a benefit for a very old friend and Chicago punk scene legend Dave Simon. Dave was working at cobra lounge one night when saw a carjacking in progress outside of the venue. Like something of a modern punk rock/ska superhero he intervened to try and stop the crime. During the altercation he was thrown from the car and suffered some serious physical damage, breaking his clavicle as well and other bones. He will need surgery and help with the medical bills. Dave has always been a solid friend and consistent face in Chicago ever since we were young punks coming up in the scene. Come out and support. This is family.
